Joyful Day!!

I am so happy to announce that as of December 27, 2017 I am now FULLY FUNDED!!!

              What does that mean?!

It means that together; though the Lord’s great provision, we raised a total of $15,063!! WHAT?!?

Great is thy faithfulness. All that I have needed His hand has provided. 6 months ago I honestly don’t know if I thought I could raise $15,000 in such a short amount of time. But how awesome is our God that even when our faith fails He is still graciously gives.

So thank you! Here are some of the sweet moments that I’ve had the privilege to partake in because of your support and faith.

(September) Waiting to board the plane from New York to Portugal

Us ‘Now’ girls relaxing in a hostel in Lisbon, Portugal after a pretty long flight

(Draganesti-Olt) First day of ministry in Romania – we handed out eye glasses to some of the elderly people in the community along with a New Testament Bible

 First border-hopped trip to Greece

Some proud team members supporting our “Chester” as she gave her testimony for the first time at Hope Church.

Some of us on gap L played soccer twice a week at night with a few of the Romanians, and they were good.

My friend Clara. I got to meet her on one of my first days in Romania, so seeing her face multiple ones a week was a sweet gift from the Lord

(October) Our first day in Uzhhorod, Ukriane

Chessie and I literally always got the same coffe this month.

Living with 7 other women isn’t always easy, but we love each other in spite of our differences.

This was a fun day – getting to tour Uzhhorod with some of the students that we taught English to during our time at the University.

One of the classes that we taught English too. I loved Ukraine and the people and ministry each day was always exciting and new.

2nd time border-hoping into Hungary!! The four of us in this photo went to Budapest. We‘re soaking in a Turkish bath here.

A rare rare photo of only me posing with some pillars in Budapest

Abs and I have literally spent EVERDAY together since launch. At this point we’ve challenged ourselves to never go a day without eachother on the race. I love this photo of her.

Morgan and I in our costumes for the Halloween part at Connections Cafe.

Travel days days on the race sometimes mean 12 hour layover at an Aiport. This also means SLEEP.

This is also what commonly happens on travel days.

(November) Ministry for the first month in Chile meant spending half of our day hanging out with the sweet students at Escuela Las Rosas.

One day we got to have a bubble fight with the students.

(December) After the school let out for “summer break”,  ministry looked like accomplishing projects around Casa Esperanz. I think we were about to hang a tarp above the basketball court here.

Ministry in Chile also meant Wednesdays and Saturday’s Hope Commumity program where we got to hangout with some of the local children. This guy is really a child, but he’s a friend that I made during this time.

Another her one of our excursions!!!! We had a 3 day off weekend, so most of the team traveled to the Chilean coast. To a city call Valparaíso.

Ab and I spent most of our time on the beach in the water. IT WAS SO COLD.

Some of the food that we ate in Chile. This is a Chorillano (not spelt correctl). Literally fries on top of an apple puree, sausage and steak with cheese, onion, and a fried egg. Probably the best plate of fries I’ve ever eaten.

Our last day at Escuela Las Rosas. They had a Christmas party!!!

Also last day, here’s the class that Morgan and I helped with for 5 weeks. Honestly the sweetest, most humbling experience. It was our pleasure to be able to serve the teachers and love on the students.

And a photo of 1/2 of the squad together the celebrate Abby’s birthday!!!

Thank you to everyone who bought a bracelet, everyone who came out to Chickfila and Broad Street Burger for my spirit nights, for all the thoughts and prayers and encouragement. Thank you to everyone who financially made it possible for me to be where I am. From the bottom of my heart, I am so truly thankful and grateful for this opportunity.

”Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

                                                      Matthew 28:19-20

Your are loved!
