Today for our blogging time, Amie Beth came up with the idea for our whole team to write down a blogging topic and then randomly pick from the topic’s out of a hat. We only had 5 minutes to type our response, and then 5 minutes to edit. This was my topic:

How was your experience with English class ministry today?

Going to the University has been my favorite way to connect with the locals here in Uzhhorod so far. They’re so eager to get to know us, our culture, and our beliefs, which is something that I’m not accustomed to in America. They want to be our friends, and share part of their own lives with us too. It’s a fun way to do ministry and it’s interesting to see how God reveals Himself in the conversations. In a way, I also get to practice my English. It’s something that I didn’t even realize that I could get better at doing until I began speaking with people who only know English as their second language. I’m so excited to keep making relationships with the students this month, and to see what the Lord has in store.

Please be praying for the friendships that we make this month, and that through those we could be good disciples of His word.

God Bless!
