The silence is over.
Boy, am I stoked to share a few things about the last few weeks with the World Race.
Training Camp in Georgia was incredible! It was challenging, life giving, and a ton of fun! I got to meet my whole squad & my teams I’ll be working with for the net few months. In case you didn’t know, we are currently in our first country: Nicaragua (Yahoo!). It is beautiful here. The people are kind, the food AMAZING, and y’all… I got to play basketball with the locals. I have been so happy!
But, before I go any further…..
I want to introduce you to my Squad: we are the Village, aka V Squad. And they are quite amazing humans. It is a seriously humbling and exciting to be apart of an awesome community of people who love God, love others, and love having a good time! Seriously blessed to be on this squad!
Not only did I get a chance to meet my squad at training camp, but I also got to meet my teams as well! (The World Race has a squad and then they create ministry teams from the squad). My team and I will be traveling together over the next 3 months serving in a variety of ways and we will be meeting up with our squad at various times.
My ministry team pictured above: ( left to right) Lan, Tiffany, Tee, Kendra, Cathrine, Jamie, and yours truly!
In addition to my ministry team, I have the honor of being on the Logistics Team as well. Oof our jobs is to help move the squad from country to country, and we had our first go around with it moving the whole group from the States to Nicaragua. That was fun! Check out the crew: Bradly, Mac and I!
Seriously so excited for the next 11 months of living life with my squad & my teams: Mi Familia!
