Team Lighthouse

We are a team of leaders. In my humble opinion Lighthouse is pretty stacked. What I mean is that there are three that have been team leaders, two that are on logistics, two that have been treasures, and we have the lead storyteller for our squad. It is wild! I’m super blessed to be on this team.
We became a team back at the end of October. The way it happened was like this: our entire squad gathered at a mall, and our squad leaders gave each of us a paper that had a store name on it. Our job was to go to that shop within the mall and there we would find our new team members. After grabbing my paper, I roamed the mall searching for the shop. I passed by other teams sitting in front of their store, but I couldn’t seem to find the store on my paper. I was starting to wonder if the shop even existed. But after I had made a thorough sweep of the bottom floor of the mall, I went to the second story. As I walked down one long hallway, I saw a group waiting in front of an athletic store. I checked my paper and found out that these humans were going to be on my next team. To put it mildly, I was ecstatic! This was a great combination of both personalities and humans!
(If you want to see how we all meet take look at Stewie’s vlog of our first night being a team!)
Shortly after we had all arrived at the store, we went to grab some grub and share a bit about ourselves. Then we chose our team name: Lighthouse. What does it mean? Well for me, Lighthouse means we want to be the light of the world for the Lord. A beacon of hope for those around us, a strong team that stands the storms of life together, and one founded on solid ground (the word).
We are a pretty easy going team, but we do work hard. When there is a job to do, we step forward, and contribute what we can. We are also a team with strong personalities, a team that desires spiritual growth, a team that can have fun, and a team that enjoys serving. We are Lighthouse.
With that, I can’t wait to share about what we have been able to do together as a team. Meanwhile, I would appreciate your prayers for our team’s continued growth in unity, exponential growth in our spiritual walks, and for health in the weeks ahead. Thanks!
