So this morning as I drove into work I was listening to the song ‘Call it grace’ by Unspoken. Let me tell you guys it touched my heart in such a major way. As I sang along I couldn’t help the tears that escaped down my cheeks.
I think my favorite line in the entire song is “Some may call it foolish or impossible, but for every heart it rescues its a miracle”. It truly is a miracle. I can literally feel the change in myself since I made Jesus Lord of my life. I have my bad days of course, but man the love and the awe I feel in this world now is beyond words. He rescued me. He loved me that much that he died for me when I was his enemy. I don’t know about you, but apart from like 4 or 5 people I would have to think really hard about dying for someone else.
I personally know that I do not and could never love and show as much grace as God, but I want to learn and grow more and more in this each day.Only with him is that possible. By being connected to him everyday he will teach me to be a light in this world. I personally can’t wait to begin this World Race because I know I will come back changed and filled with a peace and love that I would never be able to find sitting comfortably on my couch. This trip is going out into the world and truly living for and trusting in God. Living in faith.
Guys I strongly encourage each of you to do something out of the ordinary that truly challenge you in your faith. We have nothing in this world to fear so live like it!!
