This last week we worked with a ministry called Estacion Esperanza or Hope Station. This ministry partners with a local school and provides education for the children that otherwise could not afford it. We were able to come along side them and have recess time with the many different age groups of students, as well as divide up and teach English to multiple classes. We then were able to enjoy an amazing lunch with the family and fellowship with them. Hope Station is located in their home. So after we would eat, we went downstairs and helped the children with their homework and taught more English. This was an amazing opportunity and we met some amazing people doing even more amazing work for the kingdom. I put together a little video of a semi-typical day at this ministry. Sometimes pictures just don’t do it justice, especially when there are wild children involved. I hope you enjoy!
Thank you for watching and reading.
We have two more week here in Lima, Peru and then we head up to Trujillo, Peru for a two day training. After that we head to Ecuador for MONTH 10, WOW. At this two day training we will be placed on new teams. These teams will look a little different than my previous teams. Our leadership has prayerfully decided to unravel some of the structure and therefore we are submitting forms that tell leadership of four people we would like to be on a team with. Leadership will then take that information and form our new teams. Our new teams also will not have a team leader. We will simply delegate the tasks amongst each other. I am very excited for this change and all God has in store. Please be praying that the Lord guides all decisions being made and that these teams are able to finish out the last two months of our race with strength and endurance.
Thank you for your continued prayer and support!
T-70 days until I’m back in the states.
Love,
Gabbie
