Wow, I can’t believe that I am actually on my way to Georgia as we speak to get ready to leave the good ole’ USA for 9 months.

Saying goodbye to so many people and things has not been the easiest, but boy am I excited for this journey I am about to embark on with the Lord. Looking back on my preparation for this trip nothing but love and thankfulness fills my heart, man has the Lord provided me with an awesome support system.

When I first began preparing for this trip I was terrified of the number 12,491; because that’s how much money I was gonna have to raise. I never ever thought it would be possible, I definitely doubted God’s power and faithfulness. I am so glad that He proves me wrong every single time.

While I am still not fully funded, I wanted to show everyone a glimpse of how many people have been apart of this process with me and how much the Lord has proved himself in only 7 months. I am currently at $11,425 with only THREE digits left to fundraise: $966 (less than a thousand!!). That is it!!!!

But I didn’t get here on my own, I got here thanks to the faithfulness of the Lord and the faithfulness of His people.

-130 t-shirts bought

-1,300 bracelets bought

-baked goods bought

-an anonymous $1,500 donation

-multiple dollar amount donations from family, friends, & strangers alike

-Durant First Baptist Church donation (and endless amount of love & support)

-United Church of Tishomingo donations (also endless amount of love & support)

-being adopted by 3 and 4 year old classes as their missionary for the year

As I look at the dollar amount I have left, I can’t even seem to focus on that. All that I am overwhelmed by is the support I have felt from countless individuals. It isn’t even about the money, it’s about the love, prayers, and words of encouragement so many of you have shown. I am forever grateful; this journey is being made possible because of YOUR obedience to God by supporting me.

SO THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES A MILLION!!!!!!

I hope that at least a little bit of my love and gratitude has been shown through this blog. The next blog I write will be from GUATEMALA!! Ahhh how exciting!!

Please please please continue lifting my team up in prayers as we prepare to go into underprivileged public high schools in Antigua. Pray that Christ’s joy and love would shine through us in every way possible.

If you feel led to help me fully reach my goal, you can always click on the “Support Me” tab; and make sure you are subscribed to this blog so you can get all the updates along the way!!!!

So much love and so many blessings,

Gabbi 🙂
