I wanted to share an exciting opportunity with you! It’s been about 4 years now that I have known about and desired to go on the World Race.
The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world sponsored by Adventures in Missions. One of the unique things about the World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to equip Racers into their specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, I will have the opportunity to serve in partnership with churches and ministries to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, teach English, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and be involved in many more opportunities to build the kingdom.
God has used me in incredible ways at home and I still have big dreams and hopes for the local community in New Philadelphia and Tuscarawas County. But, I feel God calling me to trust Him in a way that I have not been able to yet do here. I feel God calling me to stretch my faith through the World Race. This decision has not been an easy one and I know that the growth journey I am about to go on will come with many challenges.
