Almost 3 weeks ago, O-Squad’s race ended. My squad flew home, while my friend Emily Molloy,[ from my squad ]and I decided to give Kenya one more visit. On month #7, Kenya was our home. My team served at Challenge Farm, which is a home for about 150 children from the streets of Kitale. It provided home, school, food, love, attention and more for the children. The children wowed my heart with their smile, the way they worshipped God with Freedom, and the boldness they had talking about their Creator.
Spending Christmas day with them had been one of my unforgettable moments in Challenge Farm, or even Kenya itself.
Since I didn’t fly home with my squad, my return ticket home was forfeited and I had to buy my own.
