Pastor Solomon Carter is a very passionate, caring and joyful person. He was the ministry host for my team, Strength in Variance, and team Committed when we lived in Uganda last month. Pastor Solomon’s family and the volunteers that helped with cooking, cleaning and washing our clothes made the ministry and life experience very easy.
Pastor Solomon didn’t just say he love us. He crossed the border on a 7 hour bus ride and surprised the men’s team by showing at their home. Who does this???
I asked him how Lillian, his sweet wife, responded to his plan. His words were “She was very surprised. We hosted about 5 teams before you, but you guys were the only ones that attracted me from another country like a magnet. ”
Not sure if our magnetic force from the Rwandan soil was powerful enough to pull him out of Uganda. But I KNOW he loves us.
Has this ever happened on the history of the World Race??? Now, I’m very curious to get the answer to this question.
My favorite picture of the month was sitting in between my two hosts! Love you Pastors Solomon and Moses.
