The time has come for another short video blog.
This time I have two things to share.
First of all, early on in the month we decided to make a parody movie trailer. As I have written about in a previous blog (when I read all three books during downtime in Romania) our squad is a little ‘Hunger Games’ crazy. So having been in Honduras for a couple of days two of our group decided we should make a video as if the WR was like the Hunger Games. So without further adieu, I give you HONDURAS GAMES:
Secondly, you might remember that for Valentine’s day I rewrote Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story’ for our Z Squad girls, making it WR related. Well, this month we have been doing testimonies every evening, two people at a time and last night was my turn. It’s been a great time as people have really opened up and been honest about their struggles, their pasts, their indiscretions, etc. So I shared last night about most things from being born right up to what God has been doing in me on the race but before I did that I opened by sharing my latest rewrite. To reflect where we are all at now that we are in month ten and it’s starting to feel tiring as we lose momentum and prepare for the return home, I give you The Lazy Song – WR Edition’ (with lyrics below):
