Journey Time: 18 hrs (1 train, 1 plane, 1 car ride, many in-betweens
Friends Made: over 100 (around 50 on my squad)
Sleep a night: 6 hours or less
Food eaten: usually 70% of portions I'm used to
Exercise: Every morning (although I'd rather sleep)
Culture: A different one every day (with foods and protocols)
Worship: Intense
Emotions: nervousness, excitement, heartbreak, amazement, peace, terror, joy, anticipation and more.
As I write we've been here 6 days and it has been amazing. I don't have time now to update with everything but I can tell you we've had sessions on theology, freedom, the holy spirit and so on. We've spent time in praise that has been spontaneous and inspiring and we've had teaching that is helping us to know about being transformed by God. We've made declarations, given up issues and taken His spirit, committing to a year of His Kingdom. We've had team building exercises (I will find out my team within the next half an hour), time as men and loads of exciting activities in the evenings.
