Hi there,

Welcome to my World Race blog!

I'm going to be spending 11 months from September 2011 visiting 11 different countries and getting involved in missionary work in local settings there. My route will be Philippines, [Closed Country], South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Bulgaria, Eastern Europe, Serbia, Nicaragua, Honduras/El Salvador, and Guatemala. The work may be in orphanages, schools, hospitals, prisons, streets, churches, townships, bars, and more – helping out in whatever way is needed for that community, be it teaching, aid work, anti-trafficking, food distribution, building or otherwise.

I'm really excited about what is going to happen during the next year and am hoping to share everything that goes on with you by using this site. If you want to receive alerts to let you know when I've posted something new then put your email address in the box on the left, and if you're up for receive prayer points throughout the year and committing to pray regularly for me then you can add your info here too. If you just wanna generally get in touch then you can use any of the ways on my contact page

So here's a little about what the world race is:

I've already blogged a bit, you can check out the About Me section to find out about, well, me, and then feel free to browse through what I've added over the weeks.

I'd love to hear from you so feel free to leave me comments or message me or whatever.

God bless,

Peter

If you're viewing my blog but you're not a Christian yourself and you're wondering what all the God stuff on here is about, and why I ask for prayer, then this video is really helpful for explaining what the faith is all about:

Or if you want a slightly shorter and more musically based version:
