So here we are. First, a vlog I recorded yesterday:
So I'm now at launch – we're chilling in Gainesville, GA (that's Georgia for those who, like I used to be, are unfamiliar with US state abbreviations).
It's been amazing to meet up with the rest of the squad and my team again, and we've dived straight into a time of teaching and worship (I was honoured to be able to play a part in leading worship this evening) – preparing ourselves mentally, emotionally and spiritually to leave on Friday.
We'll head out from here at about 3.30pm (local time) and by the time we get there I'm told we will have crossed the international date line and therefore I will have moved from being 5 hours behind you to 7 hours ahead of you (and I will also have lost a day of my life, having never seen Saturday :-P)
So, all is well with me, but we're having a 48 hour screen fast starting from tomorrow morning and so will not be on computers, phones, ipods, etc and will therefore not be posting here, on facebook or elsewhere. So – have fun until I message you next 😀
