I just want to take a minute to say, what a wonderful God we have. When we are lost, He chases us down until we are found. When we are ashamed of all we have done, He lifts our head and doesn’t stop loving us. When we fail, He reminds us that it’s not over yet.
It’s not over yet.
It’s okay to fail. Did you know that you can actually fail properly? Crazy thought, but sometimes you actually get more out of failing than winning. It’s what you choose to get out of failing, that can actually put you on top. It’s learning how to fail properly. You learn from your mistake, you change your tactics, and then grow. There’s a famous quote from Batman Begins; when Bruce Wayne’s father asks Bruce, “Why do we fall Bruce? So we can learn to pick our self back up.” When you fall, you don’t stay down. You get back up. Granted, you can’t always do it on your own. God has his hand stretched out, you just have to put the effort in by reaching out and grabbing ahold of it.
We have a reason to stand. He is our reason. It doesn’t matter whether you decide to get up or not, His Love is unchanging. However, his desire is for you to stand, stand on the truth that you are victorious in him. He already won the fight over death. Death no longer has its sting. You are not defeated. You are an overcomer. You were made to overcome the hardships and heartaches in this life, not because you can on your own, but because Christ already overcame the world! We no longer have to fear defeat. Through Him, we conquer anything that comes our way; even death. We have a Hope that never dies, a Fire that is never snuffed out, and a Light that never fades. That light is Jesus. You’re not alone in this fight.
If you’re down, well you are in luck. Because it’s not over yet.
He is our strength, our hope, and our reason to fight. It’s your time to get back up and get back in the ring. It’s your time to overcome.
This fight is yours to win. We fight from victory.
