Good day fellow readers. Just catching you up on our time in Salento Colombia. It was brief, but beautiful. We hiked 35 miles in 3 days through the lush mountains of Colombia, and got to enjoy the vibrant town of Salento. While we were there we met a fellow believer named Tim. Tim teaches English for his living and does so from wherever has good internet. He travels a lot and told us how it gets lonely on the road, and how he would seldom run into other believers. God was so good in using Tim’s knowledge to build us up, and using us to encourage Tim and give him hope in his journey.
Another way we were able to be a blessing was to a small family who just opened a restaurant outside the small town’s center. No one was at the restaurant when we first walked by, so we decided to try it. The food was delicious and they were really nice so we kept coming back. We made friends with the family and wrote a few reviews for them online, and soon the restaurant was full every time we walked by. They thanked us, telling us that before we came, only a few people had eaten there since they had opened. We prayed for the family, and then we had to move on to the next town. This experience gave me another glimpse of how the little things make the big differences in life. It doesn’t have take much to be a blessing, you just have to be intentional, and do it with love.
On top of all of this we were able to share what we were doing on this trip with everyone at the hostel and camping area. They were all intrigued to hear of an 11 month mission trip where you go by the voice of God and love people wherever they’re at. A blessing is a blessing no matter how small, will you bless somebody today?

God bless you guys and thanks for reading!
