Hey y’all!

My name is Faith Brewer and I’m from Dallas, TX. I am currently beginning my second semester at Dallas Baptist University and I am studying intercultural studies and sport ministry, and I hope to use those in a more permanent place overseas someday. So a few things about me, I absolutely love the arts, from writing to photography to almost anything else, I have always had a passion for expression in artistic forms. I also LOVE to travel (obviously lol), and although I haven’t yet been blessed with too many opportunities to explore the world, my heart has had a constant ache for cultures and people I have never met. This said, I am absolutely OVERJOYED knowing that I will not only get to serve my God on The World Race but also will get to see more of the world than I ever thought possible for this time in my life! I also am a huge fan of athletics (even though I am quite a clumsy person :P), I ran track in high school and although I was unable to continue that into college I still love to run and workout as if I am!
Other facts about me:
ANFP (A-equal parts extrovert and introvert)
Psalm 46 is my all time FAV chapter in the Bible
I’ve taught children’s ministry at my church for 10 years – since I was a babe myself
I’ve been a vegetarian for 8 years
I’m ambidextrous
I have a major obsession for Shiro (its an Ethiopian Dish)
I’ve been to Ethiopia before and it absolutely captivated my heart – so when we get there be prepared to see me dying – of joy and possibly from eating too much Shiro

I am so excited to see what all God is going to do on the World Race Gap Year and to get to share with everyone as this journey progresses! Please, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions! Thank you all for your prayers and support!

Much love,

Faith
