Where In The World Is Faith-Tomi Going?
That is the burning question for the night. Well, it was at a very young age that I just KNEW I wanted to travel the world. I felt it deep within me. I was born to travel. However, never in a million years at such young tender ages did I foresee myself doing something like this. THE WORLD RACE. Traveling has been a large part of my life since before birth and missions has been a huge part the last 4 or so years. There are so many countries I wish to visit before I die or Christ returns (whichever happens 1st) and mind-blowingly enough some of them are on my route! You never realize how God hears the little tiny prayers that you think are not even prayers until He answers them and then reminds you that you asked!
Summer of 2011 I had the privilege to study abroad in the beautiful country of Spain (Just hold on with me. I’m going to reveal where all I’m going in just a short while) to finish up my Spanish minor in the city of Cadiz in southern Spain. I fell in love with the people, food customs and cultures quickly. So much so that I actually cried (I’m talking about that ugly cry that gives you a headache and knocks you out type of cry) upon my departure. Since then I have been saying that I would return. I did not know when or how but I knew I would…. One day.
Less than a year from now I will board a plane with a squad of other world racers to voyage across the world for the kingdom of God. That day will come when we travel the Expedition 10/40 window starting in Spain and ending in China. In between we will also visit Morocco, Jordan, Israel, Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan Mongolia and possibly other countries the Holy Spirit leads and guides us to. Like I shared in my last blog, expedition routes focus on going places other people won’t go to reach the unreached for Christ. This mission is about fulfilling the work of God on earth as His hands and feet.
