I have never written a blog post in my life so I don’t really know where to start, but bear with me because this journey is too awesome not to share.
Also, see the about section on the left if you want to read a little more about me, but I hope through this blog we’ll get to know each other pretty well, so welcome!
I have answered a call from God to go on this trip to 11 different nations in 11 months and share about Him through words and actions.
“Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”
–Matthew 28:19
God has called me to the World Race to go to other nations and share the love of Christ and I couldn’t be more excited.
So where do you come in?
1. Prayer! Being accepted to this trip would not have happened without a lot of prayer by myself, my friends, and those at AIM (adventures in missions), but it shouldn’t stop here! There is so much to prepare both physically but also preparing my heart spiritually for this trip and honestly, I can use as much prayer as I can get.
2. Encouragement– I am beyond excited about this journey, but it won’t always be easy both in preparing and while I’m on the trip. I don’t know anyone that I will be spending a year with, and I’m leaving my family, friends and pets for a whole year. There are so many great things about this trip and I am so grateful that this is what God has called me to, but I could use some kind words from all of you along the way!
3. Financial Support– This is the hard part. This trip is worth the world to me, but I can’t do it alone. I have to raise over $16,000 for my travel expenses, lodging, food, and insurance. Thats where you all come in, everything and anything helps
