I just want to share with you quickly that I had some troubles at the airport in Zurich when I left for Atlanta. The airport-team didn’t want to let me drop off my baggage and going further on to the security because I hadn’t a return flight. So their matter was that it could be a problem for them and cause a fine if I would be sended back home right after entering the United States because they didn’t check well my travel plans. So only telling them that it isn’t my intention to stay with non-permission in the United States wasn’t enough. I called Tammy my Squadleader – for her it was 3 am – and she had to sended me the flight itinerary. Either that wasn’t enough for them. It was a blessing that I was at the airport with my sister and two very dear friends. They stayed calm too and believed as well that I was going to sit on that airplane. The last idea for letting them enter me was to check the American Airline desk for that could confirm the ticket number for my forwards flight in direction to Chile. So exactly 2 minutes before the check-in gate got closed I could drop my baggage off. I had to rush through the security and passport control, took the airport train to my gate and were finally able to board the aircraft on time.

Finally, my race started with an experience we may have a lot of. But God proved himself as the good provider. I can plan to be on time at the airport but God finally gave us the right ideas, friendly staff and a calm heart for this situation.

Tomorrow, my squad gonna leave in the midst of the night our Hotel. I would deeply appreciate your prayers for safe travels to Chile. One team of the squad has to take a 22 hours bus ride to their ministry location. Thanks for your prayers that everything is going to work for our good even we may encounter some inconvenient situations.

If you have some prayer requests as well, I would love to pray for you. Feel free to write them to me per message. Because I know, we serve a God who can truly open every door. For him it doesn’t matter in which hallway we are in.
