Im speechless to describe what I’m feeling and experiencing now.
I wanted to go on a mission trip at first because I felt called to go and i wanted to have an experience in other countries m. As most of you know I applied to to go to south Asia or Peru for 3 months, but it didn’t work out. I was praying and wanted to understand why this couldn’t work out because i was fully funded i had everything read to go.
But finally i had to STOP those processes and switch to HAITI/DR instead.
I finally had the chance to meet my team face-to-face. I didn’t expect all this love from @thelifeseekers (my team) they welcomed me sincerely like just as a Haitian would, but they did as a Team member as well. We then headed to Montrouis with the @SupplyandMultiply (our Host) Staff.
They are really awesome and they welcomed us really well. We feel at home here.
So ministry started on wednesday Morning and i was like wow! I don’t feel like I’m on a mission trip yet but God never ever rushes things. On our 3rd day me and my new brother in Jesus Blake had the chance to introduce Jesus to a young Man next to the beach. It was so awesome when he accepted to receive the Lord in his life. That was just the beginning, and I felt that inside of me
On the 4th day we went out as a team to share the gospel to the village and was busy. Me and Blake decided to go talk to some kids about Jesus. One of them left because he thought we brought material things, which we didn’t. We decided to keep talking to the other one and a friend of him came up and we shared Jesus with him and both of them accepted Jesus. We felt called to go talk to another guy who was watching us, so that man had an amazing but sad story. He shared it and we felt touched by it. We helped him the best way we could and we shared Jesus with him and him and his wife accepted Jesus. Then we went to his house and prayed blessings over his house. Since that day i felt that i was alive. Jesus was working through us. It’s so amazing how i feel helpful and feel so good to help my Haitian brothers and sisters. My heart is full of joy and compassion now I can tell that I’m spiritually full.
Also we usually have the opportunity to play with kids, have lunch at a Grace House with some elderly, sing with them, and spend some time with them. Its amazing how God used those Kids to bring joy in our hearts.
In Matthew 28:19 Jesus commanded us as his followers to go and share the Gospel all around the world ?? and I feel like this is just the beginning for me.
