We have treasures. Treasures stored up that the world longs for. They hunger for the treasures for something to fill the dry hole the hole that God has placed in every heart.
“He has made everything beautiful in it’s time. Also He has put eternity in there hearts.” Ecclesiastes 3:11.
As a few of my teammates and I walked to go place our laundry at the laundry mat we came across a man named Lee. He was here from the states helping the place we are staying at called YWAM base. As he stopped us he began to start to talk to us about how he got here his sons and why God does things. I noticed that everything he said positive or negative he turned it back to good and God.
As we spoke to him for almost a hour we prayed over him and his family. As we where walking I just started to think about how people seek for things. Positive or negative. Clothes shoes keys food I could go on and on. People also seek for things to fill holes in there heart. Stuff to make them happy to help them not be scared especially with the Corona virus that is going on. I wonder why we put so much fear and open that door to allow the devil to come right on in and the devil blows up to where we are turning against all ways of Christ. We can believe in prayer but put limitations on God.
Who is God to you. Is he your little or your EVERYTHING?
We are covered by and accepted in Christ kingdom and darkness cannot touch us only if we allow it to. Every dark hole in our life must be filled with the living water and it will never go dry. Fill those dark holes with Thanksgiving. In everything give God the glory. When you feel fear or see it creeping into the heart of your own or into someone else bless them with the treasures that Christ has given us faith. What kind of change could we do as worriers of Christ if we believe that in EVERYTHING and through everything there is living water of Christ. As we walk up on someone speaking fearful we are filled up to overflow and encourage them in being covered by the blood of Christ pray for them! Fill each other out of an overflow not just because you have a little to give away.
What do you feed your holes with?
