So its been a long while since i have been able to blog, and Im sorry to all of my wonderful blog followers. I miss being able to keep you updated, but internet has been hard to come by here in South Africa.
But I wanted to update everyone on where I am, and what we are doing this month.
This month, my team and two other teams are in Plettenburg Bay, South Africa. Let me just say, if anyone wants to vacation to one of the most beautiful places there is, this is the place to go! God has blessed us to be able to be here and partner with Volunteer South Africa. This organization is one that goes in to underpriviledged areas and teaches kids to play soccer, netball, and cricket. But so far this month we have been just hanging out with them and loving on them. We work with the kids during the weeks for a few hours every day, and on the weekends we hang out on the beach at the Indian Ocean. The missionary life is very tough this month… :). We are living on a quiet little farm about 20 minutes inland from the ocean. We are sleeping in our tents, and have a small farm house to cook dinner in. Its been a dream ministry and month and I have fallen in love with South Africa and the people.

This sweetie is Kuka. Not sure if thats spelled right, but little beauty has stollen my heart! The first day of ministry she was very quiet and didnt really speak much at all. she doesnt speak any English, but after loving on her and playing with her, she doesnt stop talking to me and laughs a lot. I also taught her how to say hug in English and what a hug is, so now every time I ask for a hug, she wraps her arms around my neck and squeezes as hard as she can. I love her! She is one of the many beautiful children we are honored to be able to hang out with every day at ministry. We love on them, and share Bible stories with them every day. This is truly my favorite month ever! It will be hard to beat it!
I love and miss you all!!!
Side note, we are a week away from our fully funded deadline and I am $600 away from being fully funded. Please consider partnering with me in this journey God has sent me on to share His love with the world! Thank you so much for all you can do.
