Hi team members, and visitors to my blog! I hope you all are having a great Christmas season, and get to enjoy some enjoyable time with family! I have not seen my family in 7 months or so, but I am leaving tomorrow night to go see them and spend Christmas with them, which I am super excited about!
It is so awesome to see everyone getting to know each other and getting excited about the trip! its going to be an amazing experience, and I cannot wait for God to shake our worlds and show us His love in ways we have never seen! All the feedback and emails I get from people responding to each other is so encouraging, and I cant help but smile. To be completely honest, I feel a little left out, because I have not been as involved as I would like to be. Part of the problem is everything going on, and being overwhelmed. I want to ask you all for prayer for me because I am working close to 70 hours a week, and am exhausted when I am not working. I am barely started on my fundraising and I feel it will be hard to catch up, although I know God will provide if its where He wants me to be, and I fully believe this is where He wants me to be! I had to make a difficult decision recently because of falling behind, and not having the time to dedicate to the trip as I needed. I turned in my two weeks at my full time job so I can spend more time preparing, but now I will have barely enough income to get by, and I cant depend on my own income to help support my trip. It was a huge step of faith, and I pray that God provides through other people.
I am sorry this blog seems to self focused, but I am in need of prayer! Thank you all so much, and I sincerely cannot wait to get to know everyone a lot better and become a better part of the family! I love you all and thank you for your prayers and support!
