Hey everyone! I wanted to let you all know of something awesome that is happening through my wonderful friend and teammate, Melissa Lowell. Melissa is an amazing friend of mine who is funny, witty, awkward, and just downright amazing! But even more than all of those things, she has a heart of love. She loves people better than most do. Her heart is full of the love of God. The kind talked about in 1 John. Love straight from Father and the Spirit himself.
And because of this love, she is asking for something that impacts the world for her birthday. Today is her birthday. And what she is asking for is life for those who need it around the world. Life in the form of clean water.
Many of the places we went around the world, people suffered and were sick because of dirty drinking water. We experienced it for only a couple months during our race, but these people live with it. But Melissa wants this to change. For her birthday, she is asking that you donate money to charity water. An organization that provides clean water for those who can’t get it themselves.
