Soooooo…
Our squad is no longer going to be travelling to Bolivia next month; due to some political turmoil, it is not safe for us to be entering the country. Instead, we will be spending another month in Peru! This month, our team will be working with a church in Cuzco.
Even though we are staying in the same country, I couldn’t be more excited for month 2! I have fallen in love with the country of Peru. Fun Fact: There are 32 different types of climates in the world, and 28 of them are found inside of Peru! Mountains, desert, coast, grassland, you name it.
Similar to Huaraz, Cuzco is also in the Andes mountains, and it is still absolutely beautiful here. After being here for a few days for debrief, I am already in love with the city and am so excited to begin our ministry here in a few days! Also, I am just thankful not to have to be on a bus for 30-some hours like we had to in order to get here to Cuzco.
Please be praying for the country of Bolivia and the ministry hosts that we were going to be working with there. Pray for continued unity on our team, and that our ministry would be even more fruitful. Pray that would would all grow deeper in our relationships with God than we ever have before.
