Tonight was one of the most powerful worship experiences I have ever had. For those of you who don’t know, I was actually asked to be one of the filed producers for at least the first leg of the world race. In a nutshell, what that means is that I’m essentially a dream catcher for stories, witch in its self is super exciting, and I am so excited to play this role on my team. I get the opportunity to give a voice to the un-heard, and an opportunity to learn from people, and spread the glory of God through their stories

Last Night, during service I really felt lead to pull out my equipment, and start filming everything that was going on and capture God’s people in his presence. And I really got this beautiful picture of what worship actually looks like. And the best way I can explain it is this:

There are sooooo many ways of worship God. For example, I can be walking in the forest recognize the beauty of God’s creation, and begin to give him thanks and Glorify Him, and I really believe that that is worship… In the same way, we lift our hands, dance, and sing while we glorify God and give him our praise and worship. The musicians are worshiping just the same while using their guitars, drums and microphones as tools, and use those tools in order to worship Him. In the same way, when I was capturing everything that was going on, I have begun to transform my mind in that I am no longer simply videoing people praising God, or there in order to create an amazing documentary, but I am worshiping by using the camera as a tool to give Him the glory and the praise just the same as everyone else is in the room. It was the most genuine, and beautiful sense of worship that I have ever seen. In that moment, everything seemed so genuine, and everything was working together to make the one big picture of all glory going to our heavenly father! Because in my mind, all these tools are doing is capturing the awe and wonder of our amazing savior in order to give him the glory. And in realizing that has really shown me that we shouldn’t just be worshiping when we go into a service, or where the music is so powerful, but instead in our every day lives in EVERYHTING that we do! Throughout the day we should be worshiping God with our actions, attitudes, intentions, and everything that we are, so that we can point people to Jesus Christ and his glory. Tonight I realized that there are soooo many ways to worship, and that everything we do sings out our life song of worship that brings Him Glory.
