After reading my last post, I realized that I did not explain something very well, and it is a really exciting part of the world race that many of you may actually not know. I get the awesome opportunity to be able to go literally all around the world, telling people about the love Jesus Christ has for them. I get to meet all sorts of wonderful people, learn from so many different cultures, and experience life to the fullest. Another awesome part about this journey however is that it is actually being recorded. This project is called the “World Race Documentary”. My team was chosen to be apart of this project. The vision of it is to show the active hands and feet of God in what we are doing, and show the world the awesome power and love of Jesus. Were taking an approach that has never been attempted before, and that is what we are going after. So I hope that once this year is over, all of you will be able to visually walk with me as I go through this next year. In order to make this project work, Gray media chose 8 people, one person on each team, approached with prayer, and asked them to be story tellers, and to help capture this next year. I was one of those 8 people that where asked to be a field producer, and I prayerfully accepted the challenge. Although still a normal racer, I have been asked to capture the stories that are happening around me. And I am so excited for that, and to be apart of those stories. So far the camera has been a massive tool of ministry. It has given me opportunities to dive in deeper with others that I otherwise may have not been able to have. Some people have asked “what about your story? Will you be in the Documentary sense you are behind the camera?”. I would answer that question in two ways: (1). I’m not sure how this whole project is going to work out. This whole thing is a work in progress, but I think it has massive potential. (2). I trust in God’s plan. I have dropped all expectations, and I am trusting God this His hand will be over the whole thing, that not my will, but His will be done, and that this project is used to glorify Him. That being said, I do hope, and think that my story will be portrayed. Keep me in your prayers, I love you guys so much, and can’t wait to tell/show yall how crazy this awesome rollercoaster with Christ is!
