Unsung Heroes
I’m excited to tell you all that this month Team Radiant will be participating in the Unsung Heroes Campaign. Unsung Heroes is designed to stretch AIM’s reach to more contacts for future ministry. Our hope in this campaign is to find people that wouldn’t necessarily be on page one of a Google search, people who are carrying out the Gospel in their communities. Without fostering paternalism we want to come alongside these people who are unrecognized in many ways and help them carry out their ministry.
This month in Mozambique we are actually partnering with an Unsung Hero, Pastor Eduardo. Pastor Eduardo and his family have a church less than two blocks from their home. He was actually found by P Squad earlier this year. His heart is for his community. At church this past Sunday we were able to share why we were in Mozambique and even take time to pray over people in the congregation. Tomorrow we will be doing hospital visits.
If any of you happen to know of a good candidate in Mozambique or someone in Africa who might know, my team would love to hear from you. Our heart is to simply come alongside people already carrying out the Gospel, to encourage them that they are not alone on this journey.
