Hi! Since this is my first blog, I invite you to read my biography to hear a little about how the Lord lead me to the world race. Beleive it or not, that’s the shortened version that I wrote in late August 2006. Since then, there are many other ways God has worked — confirming my calling and changing ‘my plans’ (departure dates have ranged from April, to possibly January, to July, to now it’s pretty sure June 15, I think 🙂 ). Yes, God has taught me to be flexible over the years, esp. growing up as an MB. Yet, I know I have much more to learn, and I know He will greatly stretch me this coming year. (Isn’t growing exciting?!) Thanks to my friends & family for encouraging and supporting me during this whole process. Yal are such a blessing!
Well, today marks two exciting events in the WR adventure: 1) My prayer card pictures were emailed to me (Thanks Scott & Robyn, excellent job, yal rock!! S&R’s photography website.). So pretty soon I’ll be able to give those out. 2) I was able to speak with part of my June 15 team for the first time via conference call!
My dear June team, it was so great to hear your voices, and hear how God is working in your lives. Also, it was great to know how to pray for you specifically!! Thanks for sharing & praying together. I really look forward to getting to know you better.
Also, so much love & prayers to the wonderful January teams!! Thanks for ‘adopting’ me in September. I’ve been praying for yal, esp. as your launch date is next week (crazy & exciting!) I know God is at work in and through you.
