On Saturday, June 16, 2007we had a team lunch in Manzini. (The place we’re staying is about a 30 minute walk away from downtown, on hills overlooking the Swazi city). I had the “village chicken” – a broiled chicken dish, with plain rice and beets. It was yummy and the lady was kind. We avoided the accompanying mini-salad, although it looked wonderful too. And the best part—dessert. A wonderful ice cream cone, half with sprinkles, half with nuts, and topped with a strawberry wafer. YUMMY! PS- the ice cream was approximately 50 cents. Definitely worth it!

Earlier in the week, we had an ice cream bar from a local store a couple doors down from the internet café. The ladies who work there are extremely kind and a couple of us girls are building friendships with them. I wish we could stay here longer…they’re so nice. Today (June 19, 2007) we said our “goodbyes” and promised to pray for them. Please
lift them up with me!

By the way, those are my only two ice cream experiences. Haha. And yes, water has been plentiful! And I’ve had a couple good runs too. Thanks my prayer warriors who are lifting that up; please
keep
praying in that regard!
