Hey yal. I just wanted to let you know about where we’re headed next . We are heading to Swaziland to help build a new vision for a care point. It’s where team Lego (another team in our squad) was these past 5 weeks, and where Awaken (still another team in our June squad) went for a few days. Please
pray for our team to catch the vision and passion for this ministry. I’m ready and willing to go wherever God wants! At the same time, I feel overwhelmed with disappointment, and I’m struggling to catch a passion for this ministry. Thanks for your prayers as I know God will fill me (and my team) with His love and joy for this ministry.
Also, I must tell you about the team restructuring. Casey is no longer a part of Team Concrete (my team). In an effort to create a safer environment for all teams, WR leadership decided there needed to be one male on each of our four teams. So Casey moved over to the DOZ team (they will be changing their name to accommodate a male). Other changes, in case you are following the other teams: Silas moved to team Lego. And Christie and Jenny Brown moved to team Awaken. Allison Johnson became squad leader. Please
pray that the Lord will continue to unite us–as a squad and as individual teams. Also, please
pray that the Lord will fill in the gaps where holes were created (Casey was our logistics leader, Mark won’t have a guy friend along in Swaziland, etc.). Thanks again for your prayers.
