I know this is a little late, but I have wanted to do a photo blog from Bolivia and just haven’t had good enough internet time or connection to make it happen.
Here are a few random pics I was finally able to upload…in no particular order. Enjoy!! 🙂

This is La Paz…El Alto, where we worked at Word Made Flesh is the city on the flat ground above the valley where La Paz sits.

The day we went to our jungle/Death Road adventure to conquer a fear, we had to drive up in the mountains to go back down. It was gorgeous!
Speaking of, here’s a pic of our day there

Some of us walking from El Alto down many flights of stairs into La Paz
More of La Paz!
Stuffed in a trufi, aka taxi…!

Lizzie had a popsicle stuck to her tongue for a solid 3 minutes. Alicia our host mom was laughing her head off and kept saying, “Un foto!!” haha

Making memories!

Our host siblings! Left to right —> Alex, Vania, Serio, Rolando, and in front is Oscar
We got to celebrate Rolando’s birthday with the family which was a blast!

This is Ali, one of the North American staff who works at Word Made Flesh

Lizzie and I working in the Suti Sana shop!

Team time!!

Lizzie and I in front of our host home

We LOVE Alicia!!!

Not to mention the rest of the family!! (picture is missing Abram, our host father who was at work!)

Alejandro was the best gift ever for spending five straight days with me, translating, acting as a guide, doing research and helping out in any way possible dealing with my stuff getting stolen.
There are of course more pictures and even more memories and gifts that came with Bolivia but this will have to do for now! Taking pictures of ministry was difficult due to the strict regulations and privacy policy regarding the women etc.
Hopefully you are still able to get a feel for our incredible month 1 in Bolivia!
