First day on the trek in the district of Chitwan!

If you look really close, you can see a house on the other side of the valley…one of our destinations!

Made it to “the church in the valley!”

We stayed with the pastor and his family in the house on the right. The ceilings are so low, we couldn’t stand up straight!

Amazing family!

The pastor (Sam) and his wife had just taken in Copila (left) as a new daughter only two days before Steph and I arrived. The team had gone to a small village to do ministry for a week and met Copila who was being oppressed by an evil spirit….her parents abandoned her and she had no family. After praying over her, she was set free and pastor Sam was moved to adopt her as his own. What an incredible story to be a part of and watch as God brought freedom and a new family for this precious daughter!!

Overnight trek up Chirdung mountain…12,000 some odd ft.

Water break! Receiving water from a witch doctor and although he didn’t want us to pray for him or his family, we silently prayed he would start experience the Living Water of Jesus from this point forward!

Camping beside a man and his yaks!

Every morning a few of us would go have coffee and biscuits with our new friend Biru.

His father used to be the head shaman (witch doctor) in the whole valley. God has pursued his heart and moved in incredible ways through his life – now his whole family follow Christ!!

Breakfast of champions

These kind of goodbyes are the hardest.
