I was with Team Dragon Fist Storm last month in Burma (yep, that’s their team name) haha!

Our main hosts were Richard, Hannah, and their children Gideon and Miracle.
They run a mission school as well as an orphanage called Agape Orphanage. Richard also pastors a church that is a part of their compound in the small town of Pyin Oo Lwin .
There are 65+ orphans who love Jesus and come together almost every night for worship and prayer.
Lacie and I sporting the traditional Thanaka bark paint that they use on their faces for sun protection and cosmetics. It is a distinctive cultural feature of people in Myanmar.
Every morning and evening we would visit neighboring villages to fellowship and share the Gospel.
Praying for healing and anyone else who came forward asking for prayer!
This mother and daughter had the sweetest smiles and came to church the next Sunday after our time spent with them on this first day!
One of the most poverty stricken villages we went to. This couple opened their house to us and we had so many people wanting to come listen to our message of Good News, they were pouring out the door!
The girls of Dragon Fist Storm! 🙂
My favorite place to be on a rest day….in the woods!!
Listening to the testimony and encouraging one of the young men of the mission school.
Receiving a special gift from our Richard and Hannah…a traditional handmade purse.
Special memories.
The team led a five day Mission’s Conference, teaching about Sabbath rest, intimacy with the Lord, listening prayer, the importance of community, the Great Commission etc. Richard had 23 missionaries from all over Burma and parts of China come in…it was definitely one of the highlights of our month!!
The last night we split up guys and girls and washed the feet of all the orphans. It was a special moment to also wash Richard and Hannah’s feet for their servant hearts and kindness that was shown to us.
Lacie and I had to leave early to prepare for debrief. On the way we stopped to visit the ancient city of Bagan which has 2,000 ancient temples.
Next stop ——> INDIA!!!
