We spent our first 5 days of India in Calcutta where we were able to meet with local pastors, potential contacts, visit the Mother house for the Missionaries of Charity, work in one of the Mother Theresa houses, spend time praying for patients and seeing God work through healings in a hospital! (We weren’t allowed to take pictures at the Mother Theresa house we worked at but you can read about my experience here!)

Lawm – my cohort for all things squad related, planning schedules, handling sicknesses, making phone calls, figuring out transportation, planting flowers, cooking, laughing, praying togehter….a dear friend and wife of John who is the CEO of BFTW (and was unfortunately gone the majority of the time we were there – didn’t get a good picture with him!).

Joshua – John and Lawm’s son

Hannah – John and Lawm’s daughter

Also known as Hannah-banana….my little buddy.

Pema – in his words, “the most handsome man I’ve ever met from Bhutan”…..which is currently true since he is the ONLY man I’ve ever met from Bhutan! Wish I could share more of his story, but for safety reasons am unable to. Please pray for him though!!!

PG – carries a heart of worship and has been accepted by Desperation Leadership Academy at New Life Church in CO Springs for music school!! He has had his visa denied twice. Please pray that God moves mountains for him to continue in his calling!

Stan the man…our amazing chef who has a talent for making incredibly tasty food over an open fire.
