I have accepted the challenge!

In preparation for Christmas, my church is doing a 25-day challenge for anyone willing to accept.

It’s called Be Still, Serve and See!

The purpose is to focus and prepare our hearts during this Advent season for the coming of Christ.

The challenge is to:

  • Be Still – Intentionally slow down your schedule and life during the next 25 days. Commit to setting time aside everyday to be in the presence of the Lord. Read His Word, pray, listen, worship, and thank Him for the countless blessings He has poured upon you!

  • Serve – Intentionally pray for, plan, and seek creative, special, selfless ways to serve the Kingdom. (Some ideas from the suggested list include): shovel a neighbor’s driveway, send a letter/care package to a soldier overseas, help grandma decorate her house, deliver warm cookies, pay for the person in line behind you at…

  • See – Intentionally look for His presence in your life as you commit to seek and serve during these 25 days. Share how you see God working in your life with others! 🙂

Advent means “coming” or “arrival”.

I am a few days into this challenge —-> preparing my heart for the celebration of the coming of Christ.

Will you also take the challenge?
