Hello, world!

My name is Esther (“Ess the best” on occasion) and welcome to my blog!

I’m 21 and I recently graduated from Regent University where I majored in Christian Ministry and minored in Spanish.

Here are a few fun facts about myself…

  •  I love to travel and explore new cities. I’d love to visit every continent… even Antartica… if I can find a warm enough coat.
  • I studied abroad in Spain for a semester and it was one of the best decisions I ever made in college. If you’re reading this and you have the opportunity to study abroad or travel abroad, do it!!!
  • I like to bond over good eats and/or desserts. I am usually that person at the table who takes pictures of their food.
  • I’m Puerto Rican and Dominican. Wepa! I cherish my family and friends dearly. My parents are my biggest supporters and I’m blessed to have them as my role models. I also have one older brother and I’m proud to say we are best friends.

Back in 2013, I first heard about the World Race, and since then I haven’t been able to shake off the dream of being a part of this incredible journey. Fast forward three years later, and here I am preparing for 11 months of intense growth and amazing opportunities to serve God and His people. I know I’ll be stretched beyond my comfort zone (and it’s kinda scary to think about sometimes), but I’m learning to surrender my doubts and fears in exchange for God’s greater purpose for my life.

I will be traveling with a team to each country in South America (12 countries in 11 months). Kinda intense, I know. This is a huge commitment and leap of faith, but God’s peace reassures me that this is exactly where He wants me to be.

As my team and I continue to prepare in these upcoming months, I encourage you to consider lifting us up in prayer!

Thank you for reading & subscribe to stay updated! 🙂
