How’s your bracket doing? Ya, mine too. Here is an update on all the madness that’s been happening throughout the month of March.

Garage Sale Success:
Two weekends ago, I had a successful garage sale fundraiser. First, I would like to thank the many people who donated items towards my garage sale! Without your help, I would not have been successful! My goal was to raise at least $350 to be successful. I was pleasantly surprised that the garage sale generated over $750!! Tip to anyone holding a garage sale fundraiser: Definitely paint a bed sheet stating the sale is for missions! It’s an easy opportunity to talk about the World Race.

T-shirt Sales:
My T-shirt fundraiser is about to come to a close. The last day to order a T-shirt is March 31st. My goal is to sell 60 and right now I’m close to 40 shirts. So please pray that I can reach my goal of 60 shirts by the end of this month. They are $20 in sea foam green and the price includes FREE SHIPPING! The front pocket has the WR logo with 11n11 underneath. The back print has “the world race” and “to serve the least of these” underneath. If you want to contribute to my goal of 60 shirts, there is still time! You can order a shirt online at this link.

Meeting Squadmates and “Hiking” in the City:
So there is this lingering advice to always expect the unexpected and routes, squads, circumstances can change. But boy, how can you not fall in love with my S squad? Each person I’ve met is wonderful and such a burst of joy! Currently, there are 5 Texans in the S squad and 4 are located in the DFW. I’ve been jokingly named part of the “Welcoming Committee” because I’ve already met 4 members of the squad in person! This past weekend I met Kaitlyn and we were determined to set out on this training camp fitness requirement. We “hiked” around a park- packs and all- for 2 miles in under 40 minutes!

I am continually amazed how God keeps piecing all the right people to carry out his mission. I love my squad already and know that we are going to great things! You should meet the amazing members of the S squad by clicking here.

Donate the Date in April:
I only have ONE MONTH to reach my deadline of $3,500. Kick-starting April 1st, I encourage you to Donate the Date. Just click on the “Donate” box on the left-hand side and donate the date. If you have a spare $2 on April 2nd, donate it towards my account. Simple as that!  Pick your favorite date, (like Cheryl Fraiser’s from Miss Congeniality’s favorite date-April 25th) and donate the date! Every donation will help me towards spreading the word that Jesus is ALIVE!

Half-way May:
Here is my goal, I am announcing it in big and bold letters on tablets (Habakkuk 2:2-3) that by my 23rd birthday I am halfway funded of $7,500. I don’t know where this inner strength is coming from (actually, yes I do – Hello, Holy Spirit) but I am going to outstretch my limits and do whatever it takes to meet this deadline. I’ve already witnessed that putting this confident trust in the Lord along with focusing my energy towards fundraising is possible and rewarding. Right now, I am in desperate need of monthly supporters. I request that you please pray for me to find guidance and the endurance to continue to do God’s will. So here it is again: By May 12th I am to be halfway funded of $7,500 in my account.

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. (?Hebrews? ?10?:?35-36? NLT)
