Hi everyone!! I want to start off by saying that the fact that I am typing my first World Race Blog is seriously filling me with so much joy right now! It is honestly surreal–a dream come true. I heard about the World Race years ago and dreamed of the day I could participate. It felt like something that I wouldn’t have time or space for until after I graduated college. I kept pushing it off, but continued to imagine my future experience. Well, little did I know that the Lord had something else planned for my life–something far greater than anything I could plan for myself.

After spending a year at my dream college, the Lord placed it on my heart that I was to take a gap year. His plan was not my own, but continues to be greater than my own. It was so difficult to answer that call, but I have already seen the Lord be so faithful with this time. When deciding how to spend the spring semester of my gap year, the Lord opened the door for me to participate in World Race Semesters, and I am thrilled to say that I will be walking through it with Him. From January to April, my team and I will be traveling to Costa Rica and Nicaragua to serve, love, and minister to the people there. I am overwhelmed with excitement to embark on this journey.

Every time I say yes to Jesus it is an incredible adventure, and I am so pumped to discover what He has in store this time. If you have stumbled upon this blog, I invite you to join in on this journey with me. I first ask that you will pray for my me and my team. Additionally, I ask that you consider donating to my trip. I applied and was accepted after fundraising deadlines had begun, so I have a long way to go. I fully trust that the Lord will provide the necessary funds, but I ask that you would pray and consider participating in this.

I will continue to share ways to pray and support me and my experiences here. Please comment/reach out to ask any questions may have. I want to include you in this experience as much as you are interested.
