I’m in Myanmar! My team and I got to Myanmar about a week ago. It was a 6 hour bus ride to the Thailand/Myanmar border, then we walked a half mile through both sides of immigration. We walked another mile and a half to our next bus. That bus drove us 10 hours across Myanmar to our ministry site. All in all, a very tiring travel day.
When we got to our ministry site, our host showed us the guesthouse. We sleep on the floor, use squatty potties, take bucket showers, and cook outside. It’s awesome. Team Agape is thriving. Myanmar and its people are truly beautiful.
Our ministry is teaching English at a mission college. The students are fun and eager to learn. It’s been encouraging seeing how on fire they are for God. I’m halfway through the race, and I’m living my best life.
