Sometimes God just shows you the most beautiful image of His power and you have to write a blog about it.
This morning we were invited to go with one of our friends to spend the day at “one of her favorite places”. My adventurous soul was so thrilled when we found out that it was a waterfall!
We were greeted at the waterfall by lots of monkeys. I expected them to be hard to find, but they ran right up to us. We were warned to hold on to our stuff tightly, though, because the monkeys often steal things. We even witnessed a monkey steal a bag of chips from one of the vendors there! Even though they were ornery, they were stinking adorable.

We hiked back through gorgeous natural pools and rocks. There were several small waterfalls all throughout and it was just stunning. As we continued to hike back, we found the source of all the other streams: a huge, magnificent waterfall.
It was completely breathtaking. We spent time basking in its beauty and peace. It was so powerful and gorgeous that it just screamed of our wonderful Creator! Chelsea, Jenny, and I stuck around for a little longer than the others and spent time worshiping at the base of the waterfall and praying in the river. There’s just something about worshiping God in the midst of His wonderful creation that is so intimate. It filled us with so much joy that we couldn’t help but smile and laugh through it all.

On our way down, we got to hear the testimony of our host and friend. She shared with us that she has fought cancer three different times, and has been completely healed each time! The whole day was such a beautiful testimony of God’s power and strength.
We saw God reveal Himself in so many ways today. Each was so beautiful and acted as a reminder that nothing can outshine or compare to the wonder and beauty of our Father.
Today reminded me of a song that we have taught to the children here:
My God is so BIG, so STRONG, and so MIGHTY;
There’s NOTHING my God cannot do!
