WOW. What a month it has been! For Month 2 we had the honor of working with Kids International Ministries. This international organization has such a heart for reaching the unreached. They are so involved in the community they are a part of and so so passionate about furthering the Kingdom. They had a wonderful facility that we got to stay in, (including a spa with $6 massages! Massage ministry is my new favorite thing…) and we felt so loved and well taken care of.

KIM has so many ministries available that we got to serve in. We were able to work in their children’s home, pregnancy clinic, elementary and high school, and with their feeding program. We grew into so many relationships through these various ministries that were truly inspiring.

When sharing about their ministry, they shared that “Our story is about running out of space.” What an amazing problem to have! God is growing them faster than their facilities can handle, and if that’s not Kingdom work, then I don’t know what is.

Being in such a poor community really puts a burden on your heart. You want to help in every capacity possible. But when the needs far exceed our ability, it is hard to come to terms with that. However, they encouraged us by saying “It’s not how you can make a difference for everything, it’s how you can make a difference for one.”

Philippines, you were so good to us. Thanks for the mems.

Enjoy my One Second a Day video from this past month.
