Words that come to mind when I think about my past month spent in Cambodia:
-HOT (we’re talking feels like temps of 108, people)
-joyful
-challenging
-relational
-stretching
-laughter
-authentic
-sweaty
This past month was one to remember. We had a unique opportunity of being together with 17 women from our squad, living and serving together for the entire month. It brought back sweet memories of living in the dorms in college and being surrounded by so many amazing women. We laughed a lot, worshipped on the rooftop, and became professional bikers. I was able to dive into deeper relationships with so many women on my squad. They are truly amazing, and it got me even more excited to build stronger relationships with each of them.

The ministry that we partnered with was Ezra Ministries. For the first week I got to help put on a VBS for the children of the community. Then for the final 2 weeks I taught 2 English classes in the morning and 2 English classes in the afternoon. While it was a lot of work and the days were long, I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. My students were so full of joy and truly inspired me. We got to shine Jesus to them and allow them to be seen; it was truly an honor to teach them. They will always have a special place in my heart.

Thanks for the memories, Cambodia! Enjoy my one-second-a-day video 🙂
Onto our next, and FINAL, month in Asia!
