STORY TIME:

While I was in Palacaguina I had the opportunity to meet several families, and pray for them. Every single house we went to everyone asked for rain, or a job. There has been a very bad rain drought for several months. Lots of jobs were lost, because the crops were not growing. For some people farming is the only skill they have experience in, and it is extremely difficult to get a job. My Team, Host, and I prayed for Rain, Jobs, Provision, and for the families of Palacaguina to lean on God and have faith. That night it poured like crazy! The next few days there was heavy rain. We were able to literally see fields being plowed, and crops slowly, but surely growing. I had never seen anything like it in my life.

Its so easy to get caught up in thinking God isn’t answering our prayers, or isn’t answering them in the way we desire. However, I’ve grown to know that he is always listening, and he knows exactly how to provide for us. Sometimes I think I know whats best for me, but God does. I don’t need to worry about that. He’s got my back.
