I know that God is faithful. I know it because He has been unwavering
in my life. He as provided over and over again in big ways and in detials. But His faithfulness STILL
surprises me.

I recently exchanged emails with a “random person who read
my blog. I expressed to her how I will probably spend the rest of my life in
surprise at God’s faithfulness. Her response was so right on:

“I think sometimes it surprises us to find just how much God
loves us and cares about every single detail of our lives. And He in His
infinite wisdom intertwines our lives with the lives of others through
seemingly random occurrences like your fender bender.
“And I think He just enjoys surprising us. He’s the Good Father who loves to
give good gifts to His kids.
“No guessing needed, I’m sure you will spend the rest of your life being
surprised by His love and faithfulness. I’m also sure He’s going to use you
greatly as you continue to seek after Him.

Currently, thanks to the generous donations of my friends
and family, I have about half
the amount of funds needed to go on the World
Race! This morning I got up and checked my balance and nearly fell out
of my
chair. My support letters were mailed less than 2 weeks ago and there
is already HALF of the necessary funds in my account! I can believe
that God is moving and providing but it is so humbling to
know that it is for me…and that it is so FAST!

So I owe a huge thank you to my many supporters who have
already given so generously to make this World Race become a reality. Thank you from
the bottom of my heart for giving to this ministry and believing in its value.

I am equally humbled by the many people who have committed
to pray for me. I am thrilled that there are so many in the Body of Christ who
willingly stand shoulder to shoulder with me in this time and bear
the burden of prayer. It is so comforting to know that there are a cloud of
witnesses that are approaching the throne of the King on my behalf.

 Oh
and I just know in my spirit that this is the tip of the iceberg. God
is going to come through in so many ways for me in the next year as I
step out into the unknown. He is the hero of this story and it is only
the beginning.
