Now on the World Race we are all about ministry but there are a few times we do get to kick back and do something completely just for fun. In Africa we had several opportunities for such adventures two of which deserve a video tribute.
SAFARI VIDEO: One of my favorite things that I have gotten to do this year outside of ministry is go on a real African safari to see all the wildlife. Now I couldn’t resist using “The Circle of Life” as the backdrop song for this video. Trust me, nothing else made it as dramatic. I hope you enjoy!
WHITEWATER RAFTING VIDEO:Also while in Uganda the squad made a little pit stop in Jinja, where Lake Victoria turns into the Nile River. While camping in Jinja we were able to spend one crazy day whitewater rafting the Nile in rapids that climbed up to Class 5!
(All of the rafts in this video look alike but the one at the end that falls apart and the guide’s legs are flailing around- please note that that is the all women’s team Hephzibah going after the best whitewater we can find!)
