One of our last days in Nepal, we were told for ministry that day, we would be living out Matthew 10, AKA “Faith Day”. We were to spend time with the Lord before venturing out for the day to figure out where He was leading us. The catch, when we leave for the day, we leave everything behind. No Money, No Food, No Clothes (Besides the ones on our bodies of course!).
During this experience, I really learned to listen and be open to go wherever God is leading me. Not just in the big things like coming on The World Race, but in the small things. In the day to day, normal activities that take place. Seeking the Lord and allowing Him to provide and take care of us, instead of depending on the things we have. It was an experience I have never been familiar with. I never would have imagined the day would have turned out the way it did. It was such a crazy, cool experience. Asking God to show up right in that moment and then seeing Him do exactly that. When you have no expectations and no agenda, He sends you to places that are far greater than the plans we make for ourselves anyways!
