Just to quickly preface the coming words, I tried extremely hard to avoid writing this blog. I would much rather write and tell the world about what Jesus is doing in the nations rather than bore the world with financial nonsense. But the time has come when this update is necessary, and I must once again share with you the obstacle before me.
Here's the deal: our last financial deadline has been pushed from March 1 to March 31, after which any and all Racers who have not met the final goal of $15,500 will "be in danger of being sent home" as the e-mail stated. The problem is that I stand $2,840 short of that.
For the final time on this mission, I am humbly asking for your help.
I could do a million different things that might convince you to give–quote Scripture, beg & plead, claim that I know for a fact that Jesus is not done with me on the Race yet, etc.–but I won't do that. I will simply say that I believe firmly in the goodness and faithfulness of my God and know that what He ordains shall be done, whether that is me remaining on the Race for the final 4 months or not. I desperately to finish out this mission, to continue serving Him abroad, but even more so I desire to do what is pleasing to and in the perfect will of my Father. I trust Him and I trust in His plan.
That being said, I also believe my duty to the Kingdom is currently in the nations and I won't stop fighting for that until He tells me otherwise. I'd be so grateful if you would fight for me too.
