OFFICIAL LAUNCH INFO!!

Hey there readers! Our squad’s launch info was released just a couple hours ago, and the I Squad’s official launch date and location are……

SEPTEMBER 5 FROM O’HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN CHICAGO, IL!!
 
Holy crap that’s soon.
 
As our team’s treasurer, I, along with other team treasurers, team leaders, and our squad’s logistics people, have to be in Chicago no later than 3 PM on September 4, and then we will be joined by the rest of our lovely squad on September 5 for the beginning of launch! From what I understand, launch is a multi-day event, so at this point I’m not totally sure exactly what day we’re actually leaving the country and heading on to our first ministry locations in either Zimbabwe or Botswana, but at least I have enough info to tell my work a legit last day and to set travel plans (:
 
THIS IS REAL!! AND IT’S ONLY SIX WEEKS AWAY.
 
Thank you all SO much for rallying behind me and being such awesome prayer warriors! The Lord is showing up in HUGE ways and I can only imagine what He’s gonna do next. Please continue to pray for my squad, my team (blog coming soon on my fabulous ministry team!), and myself as we make last minute preparations during the next six weeks. If you haven’t already been, please start praying for the people we will meet along the Race too, that we may witness well to them and that their hearts be prepared to receive the Word of the Lord. Pray that as we go out, our Father will sustain us with spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental endurance and that when we think we can’t go any longer, we press in to the strength of Christ even more. PRAY FOR ETERNITIES TO BE CHANGED OVER THE NEXT YEAR!
 
Lastly, I’m absolutely in awe of God’s provision for this trip thus far, and wanna send out a million thanks to all of those who have already chosen to give towards this cause! I’m so thankful for and blessed by all of you (: BUT, I still have a long way to go to be fully funded and have a deadline coming up on August 18.
